Bid Projects

The Policy of the City of Davenport is to purchase goods and services in the most efficient and economical manner possible in accordance with applicable federal, state and local laws.  Where possible, specifications will be written for all purchases to assure that we are getting the quality needed and to be sure that all bidders are bidding on the same specifications.  It is a policy that specifications will be written in an open manner to allow more than one bidder to bid on the City's needs.  Single source items can be specified only after approval of the City Manager.
