Board of Adjustments

The Board of Adjustments meets on an as needed basis to review and grant variances. 

 

  • The Board of Adjustment consist of five (5) members and two (2) alternate members, to be appointed by the City Commission for a term of three (3) years.
  • Members must be a resident of the City and further, a property owner within the City.
  • Alternate members act in the temporary absence or disability of any regular member or when a regular member is otherwise disqualified in a particular matter.
  • No member or alternate member shall be an official or employee of the City.
  • Members receive no salary or fees for service.
