2026 Citizens Academy
Ever wondered what happens behind the scenes at your City?
Join Davenport’s Citizens Academy, a free, interactive experience designed to give residents a closer look at City departments, services, and daily operations.
This six-week program offers residents a behind-the-scenes look at how the City operates. Participants will meet with City departments and learn how services like public safety, public works, and administration work together to support the community.
Monday, May 4 – Tuesday, June 16 | Tuesday nights from 5:30–7:30 PM
Participation is limited to the first 20 residents. Applicants must be 18 or older and reside within Davenport city limits.
