Proclamation for By Gosh Blvd

On July 22, 2013, Resolution No. 336-13 was passed and certified in honor of Kenneth R. Gill..

 

Resolution No. 336-13 reads, in part:

WHEREAS, the City Commission recognizes and greatly appreciates Mr. Kenneth R. Gill's thirty-nine (39) years of dedicated, devoted and quality services given to the City and its citizens; and

WHEREAS, the City Commission, its staff and employees also recognize and will never forget Mr. Gill's familiar reply, "By Gosh," which was uttered frequently and repeatedly by him to his fellow employees; and

WHEREAS, based on his services, coupled with his repeated and joyful utterance of the expression, "By Gosh," the City Commission desires to permanently name and designate the below described service road, as "BY GOSH BLVD".

NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Commission of the City of Davenport, Florida, that:

The above recitals are true and correct and are incorporated herein.

In recognition for and appreciation of Mr. Kenneth R. Gill's long time and dedicated services to the City and its citizens, the City Commission does hereby permanently designate the service road ("SERVICE ROAD") described...to be henceforth named, known and designated as "BY GOSH BLVD."
