In 2024, the City of Davenport completed a major project: the construction of a new Wastewater Plant. Work began in November 2022, and the plant officially opened in May 2024. This upgrade increased the City’s wastewater treatment capacity from 0.575 MGD to 1.5 MGD, providing the infrastructure needed to support Davenport’s continued growth while ensuring safe and effective treatment of wastewater.
