Beginning Monday, October 5, East Palmetto Street will be closed from Miami Avenue South to Power Line Road for a stormwater improvement project.
The closure of East Palmetto Street, from Miami Avenue South to Power Line Road, will continue through next week, October 12–16, for the ongoing stormwater improvement project. Weather conditions have prevented work from being completed this week. Work is expected to be completed by Friday, October 16, weather permitting. Construction schedules remain subject to change due to weather conditions or other unforeseen delays. Detour signage will remain in place for motorists traveling to and from the Horseshoe Creek area. Please follow all posted signs, use caution near the work zone, and allow additional travel time.
